New Open Position: Technical Sales Manager

BioTecnologie BT S.r.l. ( is a European Contract Research Organization (CRO) specialized in GLP/GEP Regulatory Analytical Services to support the registration dossier of plant protection products, bio-pesticides, biocides and veterinary drugs.

 Job description: Technical Sales Manager with expected fast professional growth

The Technical Sales Manager needs to have gained sales experience in Regulatory Analytical Services in agrochemicals and/or biopesticides, will report to the General Director and will be in charge of the achievement of the yearly sales target.

The main duties of the Technical Sales Manager are summarized as follows:

- develop the assigned marketspursuing the targets of revenue and profit established by the Board of Directors, focusing on the enhancement of the highest potential customers and new market/business opportunities

- manage technical quotations

- submit and discuss with the customersthe quotes and manage the administrative cash flows

- perform monitoring activities and market analysesin terms of customers, competitors, market shares, threats and opportunities and devise coherent business strategies

- cooperate with the Test Facility Managersto define new strategic areas of business development

- contribute to define strategies and sales targetsto ensure and increase the profitability of the company

 Required skills and qualifications:

- Science Degree (M.Sc. Chemistry, Chemical&Pharmaceutical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology)

- min. 10 years experience in Sales or Business Development of Analytical Services (preferably GLP Regulatory Testing Services)

- Excellent Communication and inter-personal skills in an international environment

- Ability to work under pressure

- Dynamism, flexibility and willingness to use initiative

- Strong capabilities to achieve the targets and problem solving skills

- Excellent knowledge of the English language oral/written and preferably of a second language

- Excellent knowledge of the Windows package

- Willingness to travel frequently in Europe and occasionally in Extra-European countries

- EU Driving License
